Lena Lake Landslide

Lena Lake, in Washington's Olympic Mountains, formed about 1,300 years ago, when a landslide blocked off Lena Creek. This lidar-derived visualization sequence shows how this recreation destination was formed, and connects the past to present-day. Scroll down to see the full image series.
